Kent Matthes has been mashing. Before the game on Friday, Matthes had six home runs in the last six games including a couple of grand slams. The major resurgence comes after struggling for a good part of the season. Matthes started at Triple A and battled injuries before being demoted. Now Matthes is feeling healthy and seeing the ball very well.
