ALPINE - The accused gunman in the deadly Alpine shooting is still in jail.

28-year-old Alvino Gonzales asked to have his bond reduced.

A judge denied the request and his bond is still set at $225,000.

Police say Gonzales shot three men at a home on East Holland Avenue in July.

One of the men, Raymundo Vega, died from his injuries.

27-year-old John Cisneros and 37-year-old Wayne Witcher were both taken to the hospital.

Officials say they don't know what caused the deadly gunfire.
