MIDLAND COUNTY – Two people were taken to the hospital following a three vehicle accident in Midland County on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 158 and Interstate 20.
Officials tell NewsWest 9, a purple pickup truck was traveling westbound on I-20 when a white Rockwater truck attempted to pass. A Peak container truck failed to maintain speed and rear-ended a white pickup truck and that caused the white pickup truck to rear end the purple truck.
The driver and passenger of the purple truck were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The drivers of the white truck and container truck were not injured.
