MIDLAND - A Midland boy who nearly drowned last week remains in critical condition in a Lubbock hospital.
It happened at the Midland Country Club pool on Friday.
Major Stone was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital and then taken to Lubbock.
His church is rallying behind him and his family.
First Methodist Church of Midland has set up an around the clock prayer schedule.
The church says, as of Tuesday, Major was breathing on his own.
The congregation also prayed over a Captain America costume which major is a huge fan of.
