Seminole Police Identify Suspects in Counterfeiting Case

SEMINOLE – Police have made an arrest after getting information about counterfeit money in town.

The Seminole Police Department tells NewsWest 9, they received information that counterfeit $50 and $100 bills were being passed in local businesses.

Last week, the investigation led them to a trailer at an RV Park in Seminole.

22-year-old Jarrod Lee Crenshaw was arrested for drug charges and a search warrant was obtained where police found equipment used to make the counterfeit money and also counterfeit bills were found.

Officials say the United States Secret Service was contacted and federal charges will be filed against Crenshaw and another female for the counterfeiting. Crenshaw will also be facing drug charges.
