The Odessa Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating an escaped inmate from Arkansas.
Police are looking for Timothy "Bo" Buffington.
Buffington escaped from the Randal L. Williams Unit of the Arkansas Department of Corrections last month.
We're told that Buffington assaulted and tied up a female in one of the staff housing units. Buffington also stole a set of woodland pattern camo clothing and a 12 gauge shotgun with extra ammunition.
Buffington is believed to have ties to Odessa and officials believe that he may be possibly trying to reach out to churches for help.
Buffington is considered armed and dangerous and was serving a 20 year sentence for murder before escaping.
