HOBBS, N.M. – One man is now facing charges in connection with a deadly accident in Hobbs.
The accident happened on Friday on Lovington Highway in the vicinity of Jack Gomez Boulevard just before 10:30 p.m.
Officials say Priscilla Mungia of Hobbs as well as a six year old child were killed in a head-on accident with a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Keevisen James Gould.
A passenger in Gould’s vehicle was also seriously injured in the accident.
Gould has been arrested and charged with two counts of homicide by a motor vehicle and one count of great bodily harm by motor vehicle.
Gould is behind bars at the Hobbs City Jail on a $40,000 bond.
The investigation into the accident continues.
