ODESSA - The University of Texas of the Permian Basin is one step closer to adding new facilities to their campus.
School officials met with the Board of Regents on Thursday and they requested tuition revenue bonds.
It's all to bring in the two new buildings.
State lawmakers will consider that request when they meet in January.
UTPB officials want to add an engineering building and an athletic and kinesiology complex.
The engineering building would cost $60 million and the kinesiology and athletic complex will cost $8.5 million.
