MIDLAND - A man got in trouble with the law in the early hours of the Fourth of July after threatening to kill an officer while he was drunk.
The officer spotted Bryce Gould passed out in the passenger seat of a truck just outside the front entrance of a bar on North Big Spring Street.
The door was open and the cop could smell alcohol on him.
After trying to wake Gould up multiple times, the officer pulled him out of the vehicle and put him in cuffs for public intoxication.
Gould moved the handcuffs from his backside to his front several times while being taken to jail.
He also threatened to kill the officer.
Police found a bag of weed in one of his pockets while he was being processed.
Gould has been hit with multiple charges including retaliation and drug possession.
