MIDLAND - A Midland man is dead and three others were injured following an accident in Midland on Wednesday.
The head-on accident happened in the westbound lanes of Loop 250 near the Waterford Apartments just before 6 p.m.
Officials tell NewsWest 9, the accident involved two SUV's and a pickup truck.
We're told a pickup truck was traveling east on Loop 250 when for unknown reasons the pickup crossed the median into westbound traffic and crashed head-on with an SUV. Another SUV was also involved as it was following the first SUV.
The driver of the SUV that was hit was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Two minors, who were also in the SUV were taken to the hospital. One of the minors had possible serious, life-threatening injuries. There's no word on the other minor's injuries at this time.
The driver of the pickup truck, 38-year-old Donny Roberts of Midland, was pronounced dead at the scene by officials.
