Lieutenant With Ector County Sheriff’s Office Named President of Leadership Command College Alumni Association

Lt. Steve McNeill with the Ector County Sheriff’s Office is now the President of the Leadership Command College Alumni Association.

The Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas was created by the 70th Texas Legislature to develop the administrative, analytical and executive skills of current and future law enforcement officials.

McNeill applied for the program, completed the required modules and a research paper earning him his graduation status in 2011.

He was later elected to the executive board and on June 26th 2014 he ascended to the president of the board. It is a one year term and he will work with the Board on the upcoming 20th annual conference scheduled for June 24-26, 2015 in Kerrville, Texas.

McNeill currently holds the rank of Lt. and supervises a patrol shift with the Ector County Sheriff’s Office.
