MIDLAND - A semi-trailer crashed through a Texaco/Kent Kwik on Highway 158 near FM 1213 Saturday morning.
DPS tells NewsWest 9 that the driver of the semi-trailer was traveling Eastbound on Highway 158. That when 33-year-old Brian Brock, the driver of a pick-up truck, failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, and crossed 158.
The semi-trailer driver swerved to avoid the pick-up, but ended up hitting the pick-up, crashed into a couple of trees, narrowly missed the gas pumps, and then crashed through the Texaco building.
The semi-trailer driver also hit a parked car at the gas pump and a car parked in front of the store before crashing through the building.
The driver of the semi wasn't hurt. Brock, the pick-up truck driver, was taken to the hospital for his injuries. He was also cited for the crash.
