Security Bank Warning Customers About Debit Card Scam

Security Bank is issuing a warning to their customers about a scam that is being reported.

According to a press release, over the past few days that individuals have reported receiving unsolicited calls informing them that their debit card was compromised.

Customers are being told to follow an automated system, instructing customers to provide confidential information.

Security Bank wants to remind their customers to be aware of any text alerts or phone calls and to never give out personal information.

Security Bank says they will never request your person information via text, email or telephone.

If Security Bank customers have any questions, they’re being asked to call the Customer Care Department at 1-888-303-8298.
