MIDLAND - One man remains behind bars in Midland for threatening an officer at the scene of a deadly shooting on Clay Street on Saturday.
Blakely Ford remains behind bars for obstruction or retaliation.
Officers working the deadly shooting on Clay Street said they had roped off the scene to keep it from getting contaminated.
That's when they say Ford entered the crime scene area without permission.
The officer approached Ford and asked him to leave the scene.
That's when the officer says Ford started yelling obscenities at them.
A Justice of the Peace on the scene says he also witnessed ford raise his hand like a gun then state that he was going to shoot the officer for making him leave.
Ford was placed under arrest.
He remains behind bars on a $50,000 bond.
