Moz scores highest in customer satisfaction in new crowdsourced rankings on G2 Crowd
CHICAGO, June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Based on reviews from more than 150 search engine marketing professionals, the inaugural GridSM for Organic Search Marketing software, announced today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks eight products to help search marketing software buyers in their selections. The GridSM, G2 Crowd's software recommendation engine, factors in customer satisfaction reported by users and vendor market presence determined from social and public data to rank products.
Organic search marketing refers to software designed to improve the ranking of websites in search engine results pages through keyword analysis, backlink tracking, and trend analysis features. Many tools also offer competitor data and broad industry analysis.
Moz earned the highest customer satisfaction score and was named a Leader. To qualify as a Leader, a product must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have a large market presence. High Performers are Ahrefs, gShift and SEMrush, which earned high customer satisfaction scores with smaller market presences.
As part of the review process, search marketers scored specific features of the products they use. Of the features scored, users were most satisfied with the tools' integration with website analytics, reporting an 85% average satisfaction rate across all products. Local marketing analysis functionality, with a 73% average satisfaction rate, was the lowest-rated feature. Across all products on the GridSM, organic search marketing software users on average are 86% likely to recommend the products they use.
