TTU Health Sciences Center of Amarillo to conduct breast cancer screenings

Amarillo, TX - The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo's Breast Center For Excellence will offer breast cancer education and outreach events this weekend.

The TTUHSC Amarillo Breast Center For Excellence has partnered with United Supermarkets and the Amarillo Area Breast Health Coalition's WISE Women to provide breast cancer screenings. 

You may attend these screenings at the United Supermarket at 3400 River Road from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 20, and also at the United Supermarket at 1501 Amarillo, Blvd in East Amarillo from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, June 21.

These screenings are strictly to determine whether you are eligible for a mammogram.

Eligible participants must be Texas residents, provide proof of address, have a valid photo ID and provide income verification or proof of assistance.

Once you have been approved, an appointment will be set for a later date.
