Big Spring Man Indicted by Lubbock Grand Jury, Facing Murder Charges

BIG SPRING - The Big Spring man charged with his wife's murder has been formally indicted by a Lubbock grand jury.

44-year-old Epifano Guzman will go before a court for two charges.

He was arrested in early June in Big Spring for a charge of indecency with a child.

Shortly after, he was charged in the death of his 41-year-old wife Rachel Guzman.

She was reported missing from her home in Lubbock.

Her body was found several days later in a remote area in big spring.

Guzman remains behind bars Lubbock on bonds totaling over $1 million.

No word on when his trial will begin.
