ANDREWS COUNTY - The Andrews truck reliever route is still shut down.
Inspectors went out to check the road and they say they'll give their assessment in seven to ten days.
We're told the triple-digit heat caused the asphalt to bleed last week forcing the roadway to be closed.
The heat caused chunks of road to come loose.
Officials believe the problem is with the asphalt.
But they're not sure if it was caused by the way it was laid down or something else.
