New Disturbing Details Released in Connection With the Death of Missing Lubbock Woman June 7, 2014 at 2:49 AM CDT - Updated July 27 at 7:15 AM Staff ReportNewsWest 9LUBBOCK - According to the affidavit an argument between Epianio Guzman and his wife Rachel Guzman at the apartment they shared in Lubbock. In the report it states a person who lives at the residence with them, claims they were arguing on Friday night over Epifanio being a suspect for indecency with a child. He claims that the two went into their bedroom and never heard anything the rest of the night.Guzman was arrested in Big Spring on Tuesday on the child indecency charge, but was questioned about his wife's death.In the report, it says Guzman told police that on Friday night he strangled Rachel from behind in their room until her body went limp. He then said he slept beside her body in the bed until morning. The report goes on to say Guzman noticed blood coming out of her mouth in the morning. And he wrapped her up in a red sleeping bag and drove her body to Big Spring where he placed the body in a secluded area. He then led authorities to where the body could be found. Guzman also said that he planned to murder his mother's husband while in Big Spring but was never able to get him alone.
