MIDLAND COUNTY – Two people have been arrested in connection with the death a teen that was found in Midland County.

The Midland County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, 28-year-old Christopher Everette Snyder and 52-year-old Robert Douglas Aiken were taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Back on June third, investigators received information that 19-year-old Haley Brianne Kemp was seen at a trailer in the 2900 block of South County Road 1124 prior to her death.

Authorities say they went to the residence and talked with the people inside the trailer and determined that the people inside the trailer were not being completely truthful.

While at the trailer, investigators recognized possible evidence that would have put Haley at the trailer.

Investigators later got a search warrant and found some cocaine, heroin and paraphernalia. That's when Snyder and Aiken were arrested.

The two men told police that Haley was at the trailer with them and they also admitted that they moved the body of Haley Brianne Kemp from the trailer to where she was later found dead at South County Road 1205 and County Road 135.

Officials say warrants were served against Snyder and Aiken for charges of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence involving a human corpse, which is a second degree felony.

The investigation into the case continues.
