ODESSA - An interesting last day of school for students and staff at Murry Fly Elementary School.
At about 8:20 a.m. Thursday morning, the school was put in shelter in place.
This was after deputies with the Ector County Sheriff's Department made a traffic stop and the man they stopped started running toward the school.
Officers never found the man but searched the area and decided the school was not in danger.
The shelter in place lasted 30 minutes.
After the shelter in place was lifted, the school went back to its normal schedule including the sixth grade graduation.
