MIDLAND - Starting on Monday, the City of Midland will begin performing routine maintenance on their water distribution system.
It's all to ensure safe drinking water.
Workers will use only chlorine to disinfect the water supply and to better clean the city's distribution lines.
People may notice a chlorine smell to their water.
The water is still safe to drink, cook and bathe in.
But if you want to remove the chlorine, all you have to do is boil the water, add some lemon juice to it or use treatment devices.
