MIDLAND - Midland Police are searching for a second vehicle involved in a deadly pedestrian accident on Monday morning.

Police were called out to the 4700 block of West Loop 250 North, just before 6:15 a.m.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a male victim lying in the center of the eastbound lanes.

Police say an investigation into the accident revealed that the victim was crossing from the south side of the lanes to the north side and was struck by a red Dodge pickup truck. We're told the driver of the Dodge stopped and remained at the scene. Then, the victim was also struck by a dark-colored pickup truck that did not remain at the scene.

The victim, 39-year-old Larry Dewayne Glover, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

As a result of the accident, a portion of Loop 250 eastbound traffic from Wadley Avenue to Midland Drive was closed while officials investigated.

Anyone with any information about the dark-colored pickup truck is asked to contact Midland Police at (432) 685-7108.
