PLEASANT FARMS- Ector County deputies were called out to a home on south Beryl Avenue late Saturday night. When they got there, they found 40-year-old Daley Carrasco Franco and his 3 year old daughter, Hargentina dead. They say he allegedly shot and killed his daughter, then shot his wife, 30 year old Adriana Veliz before turning the gun on himself. Veliz who survived, tells NewsWest 9 about the tragic night.

"He put the gun close to me. I felt the gun on me. I thought to myself that it was empty. He said, Do you want to see what it feels like to feel a bullet? I said go ahead and do it. If that's what you want, do it. I didn't finish saying it three times and he did it," Veliz said.

Franco shot Veliz close to her heart. He hit a main vein causing her to lose a lot of blood. Already in pain from being shot, that is when the mothers worst fear became reality.

"He would say look at me, look at me. And I just stayed quiet. I don't know how much time passed when I heard two gun shots." Veliz said.

Veliz tells NewsWest 9 that is when he shot her little girl. Veliz is now trying to get by and live life without Hargentina. Funeral costs and medical bills will hurt financially, especially while she is still recovering from her own injury.

"I'm not going to ask anyone for help. Nothing for him. I'd rather if the help be given for my daughter, my litle angel," Veliz said.

An account has been set up at first basin credit union. The name is Adriana Veliz and the account number is 66836.
