Odessans are encouraged to voice their opinions and concerns about several issues including the crime rate and officer shortage.
A six member command staff will be taking questions from citizens at the event.
The meeting will be held Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the Odessa Police Department classroom right next to the front lobby.
Officials are hoping to have community meetings on a regular basis in the future.
