Police investigate two overnight shootings

Amarillo, TX - Amarillo police are investigating two shootings that happened Thursday night in north Amarillo. NewsChannel 10 spoke with APD officers and they say it's not clear if the two are linked.  

Just before 9pm officers were sent to the 2000 block of Orange after reports of shots being fired were reported, but minutes after arriving on scene a second call of shots being fired at the 1200 block of north Monroe came in.

No one was injured in either of these shootings.  

Police say a dark colored Suburban or Tahoe could be a suspect in this case. Right now, no warrants have been issued and police are tracking leads as they try and locate anyone involved.  

They also ask anyone with any information to please call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374- 4400.
