BIG SPRING - Howard College students will be seeing a price hike in their tuition this fall.
On Monday, trustees voted to raise tuition rates.
It's all because there's been a decrease in state funding and revenues for college.
What was approved is a $2 increase per class hour for in-district students and a $4 increase per class for out-of-district students.
That means that students who sign up for a 15 hour class load will be paying an extra $30 per semester for in district students and $60 for out-of district students.
