BREWSTER COUNTY - The search is intensifying for a missing Terlingua woman.
The Brewster County Sheriff's Office is looking for 80-year-old Mary Elizabeth Broughton.
We're told she was last seen between the middle of February and March.
The sheriff tells NewsWest 9, they're now turning to the community for help.
"We have not had any contact with her. We searched the home. We've been on the property; it's about a 30-acre tracker property. We've looked around. We've actually flown the property and from the air to kind of see if there was any kind of disturbances anywhere that we could find. We're just concerned for her wellbeing. We just want to see her, make sure she's okay," Brewster County Sheriff, Ronny Dodson, said.
Mary's daughter, Judith Broughton, was arrested for stealing social security retirement insurance benefits from her father.
Earlier in January, Judith's father was found dead in Lexington, Kentucky, in a storage unit.
Officials say Judith has been renting out the unit since 1990.
The sheriff's office says they don't know whether Mary is a victim of foul play or if she moved to an unknown location.
