Three People Stab Each Other in Hobbs Fight

HOBBS - Hobbs Police say a stabbing that left three people hurt happened during a fight between the three of them.

On Friday, March 28th, Officers were called to the La Pradera Apartments on East Glorietta. When the arrived at the scene officers found two victims who were stabbed. A third victim had already been transported by a personal vehicle to Lea Regional Hospital and he also suffered stab wounds.

The three victims were identified as 29-year-old Roderick Franklin, 22-year-old Sammy Espinoza, and 20-year-old Eduardo Espinosa. Roderick was treated and released from Lea Regional Hospital. Sammy and Eduardo were sent to University Medical Center in Lubbock where they were also treated and released.

Detectives investigating the stabbing determined a fight started between the three victims after an argument over money being stolen. During the fight, all three received stab wounds.

No charges are being filed at this time because the victims would not cooperate with police.
