The man accused of murdering his girlfriend in Carlsbad earlier this month will be arraigned Monday.
33-year-old Robert Earley of Euless, Texas, is charged with murder, tampering with evidence and kidnapping.
According to officials, he waived his right for a preliminary hearing and faces arraignment at the Eddy County Courthouse.
Police say he killed 30-year-old Emily Lambert.
Early told investigators he knocked Lambert out after an argument then took her to a rural area.
According to an affidavit, Earley hit Lambert with an air pump then used a rope and his car to drag her body behind a barn.
