HOBBS, N.M. - Starting a fire and taunting firefighters landed one Hobbs man behind bars.
Kevin Sanders is facing several charges including arson.
Fire crews were called out to a home on East Skelly that was fully engulfed in flames.
According to the affidavit, police say as crews were fighting the blaze sanders went up to them and started yelling, "Stop! Let it burn!"
We're told Sanders told officers he had lit pieces of toilet paper to burn the weeds around the house.
But that's not it.
He also told police he set toilet paper on fire and threw it inside the home so it could burn down.
