BIG SPRING - The E.M.S. ambulance service in Big Spring will be getting a helping hand.

That's thanks to a permit approved by the City Council which will allow a new ambulance service to enter the city.

The new private service will be available for non-emergency transport of patients to and from medical facilities in other cities.

There will be no cost to the city for the service.
