ODESSA - An Odessa man wanted in connection with dragging a Roswell Police officer has been caught in Odessa.
The Roswell Police Department tells NewsWest 9, 36-year-old Brian Rudloff was apprehended in the 6800 block of Golder.
As NewsWest 9 reported, an officer from the Roswell Police Department initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Third Street and Main Street around 10:20 p.m. Monday night.
The officer contacted the Rudloff and asked him to exit the vehicle to conduct a field sobriety test. But before Rudloff got out of the car, he reached over as if he was grabbing something.
The officer grabbed Rudloff to stop him but Rudloff drove away, dragging the officer about 30 feet.
