MIDLAND COUNTY - Four teens were seriously injured after a late night rollover accident in Midland County.

The accident happened in the 8000 block of Highway 191 around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night.

Officials tell NewsWest 9, a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling eastbound on Highway 191 when the vehicle lost control while making a lane change in order to avoid a slower moving vehicle. The vehicle began to skid, entered the median of the highway and rolled several times.

We're told that four teens, who were in the vehicle, were all ejected.

Officials say the Avalanche was driven by a 16-year-old male who had three passengers ranging in age from 14-years-old to 16-years-old.

Three of the teens were transported to Midland Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The fourth teen was transported in stable condition.

Officials do not believe that alcohol or speed were a factor in the accident.

The investigation continues.
