CARLSBAD, N.M. - We have new information over the man accused of killing his girlfriend in Carlsbad.
33-year-old Robert Earley of Euless is heard on a 911 call saying the Dallas area teacher disappeared after threatening to leave with a man who “treated her right.”
The call shows that Earley initially claimed 30-year-old Emily Lambert vanished when they parted at a Carlsbad bar on Sunday morning after an argument.
Earley eventually told investigators he knocked Lambert out and took her to a rural area.
According to the affidavit, he struck her with an air pump then used a rope and his car to drag her body behind a barn.
Earley has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence.
