Oklahoma teen caught with $1.3 million in meth

Amarillo, TX - Texas state troopers uncovered more than 36 pounds of methamphetamine in a traffic stop Wednesday.

Just after 2:30 p.m., troopers say they found 23 bundles of meth stashed in the seats of an SUV during a traffic stop near Conway on Interstate 40.

The drugs are valued at over $1,300,000. The driver, 18 year-old Leira Cota of Oklahoma City is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers believe the drugs were being taken from Nogales, Arizona to Oklahoma City.
