HOWARD COUNTY - A grass fire in Howard County that began on Wednesday night sparked up again on Thursday.
Crews were called out around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to FM 700, just north of Interstate 20.
A small barn burned down because of the grass fire but no other structures were damaged.
Authorities are suspecting arson because there is no other way for a fire to start in that area.
It took fire officials about six hours to control the fire using handheld gear since their vehicles were too big to get close to the fire.
Officials were able to quickly put out hot spots on Thursday.
No one was hurt.
