ODESSA - The Ector County School District is looking to make some changes...
That's after they were ranked low by the Texas Comptroller.
Ector County ISD was given a "very low academic progress" that's at or above six percent of all Texas districts.
Schools are given between one to five stars based on student achievement progress and the district's spending of taxpayer dollars.
Ector County ISD got 1.5 stars.
According to the study, ECISD's spending is "high" compared to fiscal peers.
