OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Crews in Oklahoma City are working to clean up a sticky situation for drivers.
All lanes of westbound Interstate 44 were reopened after a semi-truck spilled maple syrup on the highway on Wednesday morning.
Temperatures are below freezing so officials said they are concerned the area could become slick.
Officials said the truck was headed from Missouri to a Braum's in Tuttle, Oklahoma.
The truck was carrying about 48,000 pounds of syrup.
No word on how much of that spilled onto the highway.
