MIDLAND - A real headache for Midland officers on Monday night.
That's after someone was driving around with bags falling off their truck.
Some of the bags broke open which spilt a corrosive powder onto the street.
Luckily, officials say it wasn't a big health hazard.
HAZMAT was still called out to west Front Street to clean it up.
The bags were first spotted on the 300 block of Wall Street but officers found more down the road.
Officers had to block off west front from Bankhead Highway to "K" Street.
Hazmat crews had to vacuum up the powder, which contained caustic soda or sodium hydroxide.
When mixed with water, it creates heat.
It's often used in manufacturing other chemicals like soap and rayon.
Officials say there was no danger to the public.
