MIDLAND-  The Travis Baptist Church in Midland was the scene of a break in on Friday night. Whether it was the same criminals that did this before or not, there is no question the church has been broken into not once, not twice but three times in the last year.

NewsWest 9 spoke with the son of the Pastor, who is also Music Director, on who he believes is behind the break in.

"Well they caught the last guys and they were kids so it's probably just kids," Bryant said.

Someone found a brick in the backyard, used it to break two windows and make their way into the church.

Police tell NewsWest 9 that "minor electronics" were missing and they will continue to investigate.

Meanwhile, Bryant has begun to start cleaning up all the shattered glass that litters the floor.

"Really, it's the biggest thing. More of a nuisance than anything else," Bryant said.

Sunday school begins at 9:45 am with service following at 11. Bryant said both him and his dad, Pastor Pat Bryant, will be there to greet the congregation.

"We'll just sweep up the glass and show up as usual," Bryant said.

If you have any information on the break in, you're asked to call Midland Police.
