ODESSA - The Ector County Independent School District board agreed to sell two of the district's properties Tuesday night and they got more than the asking price.
The former Teen Parent Center and Aim High School was sold for $1.3 million.
It was awarded to Cardinal Homes Incorporated.
The second property, Fannin Elementary School, was sold to Embassy Ministries for $250,000 and the school board also got the ball rolling on a new science and locker room building for Odessa High School.
They approved spending a little more than $10.5 million for the project.
The board also approved buying more property for the campus on Graham Avenue and West 13th Street.
Last month, the board approved buying property on West 12th Street.
