It was a rivalry renewed Saturday on the Grande Communications soccer pitch. Starting with the boys game which featured two teams scoring seemingly at will. The Dawgs and Rebels came into this one with a combined 28 goals in district play. But Saturday Midland High's offense was the one firing on all cylinders, while the Rebels shot blanks. 5-1 Midland High was the final.
Then in the girls game, the Midland High dominance continued. The Lady Dawgs jumped on Lee early, scoring 2 goals in the 15th minute, and never let up. They complete the boy-girl sweep of Lee, with the 4-1 win.
