EDDY COUNTY, N.M. - A crash in Eddy County killed a man from Loving, New Mexico on Monday morning.
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 285 just south of Carlsbad.
An investigation revealed that 34-year-old Cassidy Wages was driving a truck on the highway when he drove into the back of a semi.
Wages was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Officials say driver inattention caused the crash and that there was no indication that alcohol was involved.
