HOBBS, N.M. – Officials have released a cause of death after a body was found in a freezer back in September of 2013.

Officials say 22-year-old Everette Willford’s death has been ruled as an accidental death due to toxic effects of methamphetamine.

As you may recall, Willford’s body was discovered at a home in the 1400 block of East Dunham back on September 3 after police were called out to the house after neighbors told them there was a bad smell coming from the home.

We’re told the body had rotted so badly that officers could not figure out what gender it was at the time.
