Amarillo, TX - Texas state troopers over the weekend uncovered more than $386,000 worth of methamphetamine.
Just after noon Saturday, troopers stopped a car for a traffic violation on Interstate 40 near Conway. There, they discovered more than ten pounds of meth, wrapped up in a dozen bundles inside the trunk of the car.
The driver, 39 year-old Roberto Fernandez, Jr. of Yuma, Arizona, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
Troopers believe the drugs were being taken from Arizona to Des Moines, Iowa.
