Wednesday, former Andrews High Mustang running back Shaud Williams agreed to play for the West Texas Drillers in 2014. From 1995 to 1998, Williams rushed for 7,712 yards for the Mustangs. That puts him 10th on the all-time record for Texas high school football. Williams began his college career at Texas Tech before transferring to Alabama. In 2003, he rushed for over 1,300 yards for the Crimson Tide. Then in 2004, Shaud was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. From 2004 to 2007, he played alongside the likes of Willis McGahee, Marshawn Lynch, Fred Jackson, and Travis Henry. Shaud is excited to be back, doing what he loves in west Texas.
