A Texas tow truck driver is shot while on duty

Forth Worth, TX - A tow truck driver in Fort Worth was shot during the early hours of new year's day.
Forth Worth Police say around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, three men were having car trouble and called a tow truck. When the tow truck driver arrived, he told the men only one could ride in the truck's cab and the other two could not sit in the vehicle as it was being towed.

One of the men was Shane Crowson. The 24 year old pulled out a gun, and fired at the tow truck as it drove away.

The shot hit the driver, who was taken to a hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Crowson has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
