UPDATE: Police search for robbery suspect

UPDATE: Police continue their search for the suspect in Wednesday morning's robbery at the 45th Ave. & Western St. Toot'n Totum.

Friday afternoon, APD released surveillance photos from the scene of the robbery.

Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for the suspect of a morning shooting and robbery.

According to police, a man walked into the Toot-N-Totum at 4500 South Western, and fired a shot into the store's ceiling. The store's two clerks emptied the registers and gave the money to the suspect. The man then fled the store on foot. Several customers were in the store during the robbery. No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, around 5 foot, 8 inches. He was last seen wearing a flannel shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes. He was wearing a covering over his face and gloves during the robbery as well.

Police are continuing to investigate the crime. If you have any information that could lead to an arrest, you are asked to call the Amarillo Police Department at (806) 378-3038.
