An early morning shooting leaves one man hospitalized

Amarillo, TX - An early morning shooting leaves one area man hospitalized.

Amarillo police tell us around 3:30 Wednesday morning they responded to the Paradise Club on Filmore on reports of shots fired.

Upon arrival they found a large crowd leaving the club and evidence of a shooting but no victim.

Officers were informed a 26 year old  man had been shot multiple times and was taken to an area hospital by a private party.
   
He is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
   
The suspect in the shooting was described by witnesses as a black male around 20 years old.
 
Amarillo police are still investigating the incident.
